Class: Studio Painting

Through this class, participants will continue to develop their painting skills by working from their own source photographs. Plan to bring several photos to paint from (at least 4" x 6", but the larger the better). You may paint at whatever size you prefer and work at your own pace throughout the class. Dan will help each participant solve problems based on technical guidelines. The first class will be spent discussing painting in general and seeing examples of working methods, while also helping participants choose the best of their photos to work from.

The class will focus on oil painting and you'll need to bring your own supplies including a portable easel (and in consideration of others refrain from using any turpentine products -- please bring only odorless mineral spirits like Gamsol or Turpenoid).
