I have been invited to participate in the upcoming Paso ArtsFest in Paso Robles, California, May 20–24, 2015.

Studios on the Park, a non-profit open studios art center, will host the event which celebrates the arts and promotes Paso Robles as an arts destination. One of their goals is to ensure that the Central Coast community and its visitors continue to have access to the visual arts. From their website: “The event appeals to art fans of all ages, featuring an Outdoor Fine Art Show & Sale, a Wet Painting Sale & Auction, hands-on interactive art experiences all over the park, exciting musical guests, dance performances and many more entertaining and artistic surprises.”

I will be joining 20 other invited artists from across the U.S. to participate in the Signature Exhibition which will include a selection of paintings by each artist including my painting, Wine Country (16×20 inches, oil on linen panel, pictured). These paintings will be available for purchase through June 29, 2015.

I will also participate in the Wet-Painting Sale & Auction which will include freshly-painted (“plein air”) scenes of the central coast, painted on-the-spot by each artist between May 20 and 22.

The free Festival in the Park on May 23 will allow you to experience everything mentioned above plus a Local Stars Quick-Draw, the Kids Art Smart Zone, Hands-On CREATEspace for Teens and Adults, live music and performances, the best wine bar in the county and more.
