I recently participated with several other artists in a plein air painting event. Glen Eyrie Castle hosted the event on its beautiful grounds in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We painted throughout the castle grounds during the morning then framed our finished paintings. Artist Skip Whitcomb judged the work for the event and he chose my painting Light Through the Trees for the First Place award.
