Art consultant and former Los Angeles gallery owner, Anca Colbert, includes me in an article she has written about plein air painting in the Ojai Valley. Her article was just published in the Spring, 2015 issue of the Ojai Quarterly magazine.
Anca is a regular contributing author to the Ojai Quarterly, and with this article she traces the history of some of California’s early plein air painters like Edgar Payne who painted Ojai in the early 1900’s. She then features a few of the current artists in Ojai who continue the tradition of painting outdoors in this beautiful valley.
